Prof.Dr K V Thiruvengadam is living legend.He was teaching at Madras Medical college till his
retirement.He was a popular teacher.His stress was more on clinical methods of which he is a master
.
Students used to throng to his classes.He is very soft spoken and humility is his forte.He is the
recepient of Padmashree,B C Roy Award, to name a few.He was honorary physician to
President of India
After retirement he used to teach at places like Railway hospital Perambur for the joy of teaching .
.Ever studious he is highly respected in medical circles .In fact most of professors of
medicine in Chennai and south India are his students.
He is a strong advocate of medical ethics
