Here is a paragraph from is book
'If teachers are selfless, patriotic and devoted their duties.so should students be.Nobody exercises
greater influence on young minds than the teacher.Mere advice is no good.If words could change
the pattern of our society ,we should have accomplished wonders by now.and yet we are far,far away
from our objectives. The reason is that we do not practice what we preach. An ounce of practice has
a more salutary effect on the rising generation-our future leaders-than a ton of preaching.'
"If the performance of a student is to be judged by a single examination, whole purpose of the educative
process will be narrowed down by this end.It is therefore ,necessary to evaluate in some the advance
made by the student periodically"
Dr Pavate was awarded Padmabhusan by Govt,of India .A township in Dharwad is named after him.
